What is your Star Wars Name?

It appears that George Lucas uses a formula to create
all those stupid names you see in the Star Wars trilogy and Phantom
Menace
(JarJar Binks,ObiWan, etc.). Well... here's the the formula!

To see what your Star Wars name is, follow the steps below...
Your Star Wars First Name:
1. Take the first 3 letters of your last name.
2. Add to that, the first 2 letters of your first name.

Your Star Wars Last Name:
1. Take the first 2 letters of your mother's maiden name.
2. Add to that the first 3 letters of the name of the town or city in
which you were born.

There you go! There's your Star Wars Name!

According to this formula, here are a few members of my family:

ME: Benly KrFla
My husband: Benla Wofil
My brother Penwa KrFla
My son: BalFo PeCot

How about you? What is your Star Wars Name?

SOLSTICE

Well, the days will start getting shorter now. We've crossed over the longest day of the year. My dear pal Sylvana sent me this message:

"So did ya do the naked jiggley dance under the moon for the solstice?
Greet the day with a naked sunrise yesterday... burn sage and play hippie music?
;D S."

uh, no. Not even. Sorry Syl, but those days are LONG over.

Halloween Dogs

I have never dressed up a dog. No cute little sweaters for my pooch. I don't even tie a bandana around her neck. I also don't carry a canine in a purse. Dogs are dogs. I've never understood the point. But now I've discovered something new. I was reading Tristi Pinkston's blog and discovered the wild, wacky world of dog Halloween costumes.

Apparently all sorts of stores from PetSmart to Target are carrying them. Who knew?

I don't thing Morgan dog would stand for it. She'd be way too embarrassed.

Strange World

As I've been looking for information on Italy, planning out what things I would like to see I was getting all dreamy about visiting the Colosseum, seeing the Sistine chapel, and the Vatican museum. It never occured to me I might encounter a GIANT PINK BUNNY. I'm all for unique artistic expression and all that, but this is just plain weird.
