What Flower
Are You?

I don't know what the basis for the selection is...some of the questions seem quite unrelated. However, the summary says:

"Mischief is your middle name, but your first is friend. You are quite the prankster that loves to make other people laugh."

I can live with that.

I'm a snapdragon, too. I wish I were a hydrangea or an oriental poppy. Plus, my mother hates snapdragons, so does that mean she hates me??

This quiz raised more questions than it answered.

Most of my blog friends seem to be snapdragons, which is one of my favorite (and I know I've just outed myself as having many favorites) flowers - they are so pretty, and you can play with them! What more do you need?

I'm not sure what would be my "Favorite" flower. I really appreciate a diverse range - from Queen Anne's lace to foxglove, pansies and iris to the tiniest violet. Truth be known I can even appreciate a dandilion (although I spend hours digging them out of my lawn!) Oddly enough roses are probably my least favorite - although my husband really likes them so we have several.

When I used to live near Wenatachee I had a lovely yard planted so that something different bloomed every week or two from the first crocuses until frost. In those days I had more available time for digging in the dirt so I was forever ordering new bulbs. I had about six different kinds of daffodils and dozens of colors of tulips. There were all varieties of hyacinths and a profusion of lillies ranging near every color imaginable. I loved my hollyhocks, lillies, allium, yarrow, carnations, poppies, money plant, iris....STOP ME STOP ME
Yeah - I'm a flower fan to the extreme.

My current yard has giant trees which I love, but it does make my flowerbeds a bit limited. These days I focus on shade lovers like bleeding heart, ferns, lilly of the valley, coleus, impatients, begonias. I have a few spots that get more sun where I will put out some splashes of color.
