I am a walking blood meal
As much as I loved our recent trip to the mountains, there was one down side to our holiday. The mosquitoes. I do not understand why they love me so much. Larry and I could be hiking on the SAME trail and he would not get one single bite. I, on the other hand, am covered it itchy welts. I think I will go take a general body dip in calamine lotion now.

Bloodsucking parasites aside, I'm greatly enjoying reading about your enthusiastic adventures in your new home!
Thanks so much Kelly. Hope your trip to the Jersey Shore was every bit as wonderful as our get away. I think it is high time your clan all came out to visit your kin in Idaho and then made a side trip to Boise. We have pies here too, ya know. If the Daughter doesn't mind sleeping on the fold out couch you and Deb get the guest room. Seriously, I think it's about time my favorite writer from New York took a trip west.
I am the same way. I consider it is my warm personality.
Someone told me recently it has to do with the amount of potassium in the blood. People who eat lots of bananas get more bites. Sounds like an old husband's tale to me, but next time I go camping you can bet I'll skip my daily banana fix for a few days prior!
